When you purchase ScanMyWarehouse, we collect:

• Your name and email address (to deliver your license key)
• Company name (optional)
• Payment information — processed and stored securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• IP address and browser information for fraud prevention

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate and deliver your software license key
• To send renewal reminders before your license expires
• To provide customer support
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe is a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Your card details are transmitted directly to Stripe and never pass through our servers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.

4. Desktop Application Data

The ScanMyWarehouse desktop application stores all inventory data locally on your PC in a SQLite database. This data never leaves your machine unless you explicitly export it. We have no access to your inventory data.

5. Data Retention

We retain your order records (name, email, plan, license key) for 7 years for accounting and support purposes. You may request deletion of personal data at any time (subject to legal retention requirements) by emailing support@scanmywarehouse.com.

6. Cookies

This website uses only essential session cookies required for the Stripe checkout flow. We do not use tracking or analytics cookies.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at support@scanmywarehouse.com to exercise these rights.
